Self-assessment is an evaluation process conducted by a PHEI to enable it to evaluate its performance in conducting
any of its courses of study. This self-assessment process covers the Minimum Standards and Accreditation to ensure
that a particular course of study, which had been approved based on its initial proposals, had fulfilled those
proposals and achieved the standards by the time it is due for Accreditation.
A Self-Assessment Guide (Panduan Penilaian Kendiri, PPK)
based on information in the LAN-TC-01 form has been prepared to
facilitate PHEIs to
conduct self-assessment. This guide assists PHEIs to employ all
stipulated criteria for a more systematic self-assessment. Part 1 of
the PPK underlines the required information needed for the
assessment of the course of study, via descriptive data, which are
General Information of the PHEI, Overview of the Course of Study,
Curriculum, Teaching Staff, Facilities and Management System. Part 2
of the PPK contains evaluative questions and statements which will
guide the PHEI in their assessment based on the information
given in Part 1. Combination of Part 1 and 2 make up the PHEI Self-Assessment of Course
of Study documentation.
